Ideal Diet
No! Didn't I say that you cannot read this link unless you started your juicing life? If you have not started, then go back to Petite-Juicing page and come back here later, please.
This page is only for the person who is already drinking juice... :)
(I do not want to overwhelm many people's brain with what to eat and what not eat before even starting the juicing life. )
Ideal diet is that 70% of your diet should be Water Rich Food (WRF).

Ideal diet is that 70% of your diet should be Water Rich Food (WRF).
Anthony Robbins also talks about this ratio in his book " Unlimited Power". As I wrote earlier in the Benefit of Juicing page, water rich food is the food that contains mostly water, such as vegetables and fruits. Therefore if you are eating 70 % of your diet, the body can build the healthy and strong body.
I will show you how it is like in the everyday meal.
If you eat food in Japanese style (like me), the ideal diet would be like these....

Well, can you tell that about 70% of the meals in pictures above is the WRD? Don't be so serious about it. Just see if 70% of what you are going eat is vegetables and fruits. That's it. So simple.
Salad and Soup is good. If you think that % of WRD did not reach 70% today, then drink a glass of vegetable juice! You do not have to spend a lot of time in the kitchen. It is very easy.

How do I change my diet to "Ideal Diet"?
First of all, you need to start the Juicing life. When you start drinking juice, you get energy. After getting the energy, you will start exercising and feel like you want to do something more. Then you are ready for transferring your diet to "Ideal diet:. Try the following list of things one by one.
White rice → Change to brown rice
White bread → Change to whole wheat bread
White pasta → Change to whole wheat pasta. (I thought that whole wheat pasta taste bad, however I found that some are very tasty! The one that Costco sells is wonderful! The taste is totally depending on brands. Now we only eat whole wheat pasta! ) vegetable oil→ alternate with olive oil or sesame oil

Say goodbye to:
And say hello to:
You do not have to change your diet completely, all at once. It can take 1 or 2 years to get close to the ideal diet. I took 3 or 4 years to get to very close to the ideal diet, with trying new things, eliminating bad food, and educating myself about food choices. So, it is completely OK to take some time for yourself to adjust to the new way of eating.
I love eating and cooking food. I also love eating out as well.
If you are the one who just start the petite-juicing life, it is OK to eat anything you want. For now, what you want to do it to keep drinking juice every day and wait for your body to direct your preference.
- Animal based products, especially meat (especially four legs animals)
- Dairy products, including cheese, margarine, butter, milk
And say hello to:
- Beans (soy, pinto, chickpeas, and more!)
- Almond milk to substitute milk. (I prefer almond milk rather tahn soy milk. Make sure that it is not the sweetened by cane sugar. Almond milk is typically sweet as it is and it is good for you. )
- Seaweed (Nori, Wakame, Hijiki, etc)

When you eat out...
Even when you go out and eat at a restaurant, try to balance your meal with 70% of the WRF ratio. But if you look at the restaurant menu, you will find that most of food do not even reach to 30% of WRF. If that is the case, order a plate of salad along with your favorite meal. The left over can be brought back home.
Sometimes, you will find that some restaurants do not even carry salad or vegetable soup. Ramen noodle and Soba noodle stores are a great example. They typically only serve noodles. If that is the case, enjoy your meal first and go home. You can make up with a fresh vegetable juice as a supplement, or you make sure that you drink vegetable juice or big salad for the next meal.
The key is a balance.
You try to follow 70% WRF ratio as much as you can to get close to the ideal diet.
