How to Juice
I will show you how to make the basic juice. Here, I made orange colored juice. I suggest to put two to three ice cubes for the pleasant taste.
Recipes
Basic recipe is:
1 or 2 Apples + 4 or 5 different vegetables
I recommend to use green apples over red apples, because green ones tend to be sweeter. But if you find that it is easier to obtain red ones, go ahead and use the red ones. For the vegetables, the ones with less bitterness suit for juicing. Don’t torture yourself by making bitter and hard-to-drink juice! Juicing should be pleasant experience, so make sure to adjust the bitterness by adding one more apple to your drink.
Following lists are the recommended vegetables for juicing. You can also try another seasonal vegetables to enjoy the variations. If you got a lots of oranges, then make orange based juice. If you have more cucumbers, then make green juice with a lot of cucumbers.
If you are just doing the Petite-Juicing, drink 500 ml a day. If you are doing the reboot program, you can drink more than 500 ml at a time, and more often. You can even drink more than 1 liter at a time. You do not need to worry about too much drinking here.
Some people find that it is easier to make a big batch of juice in the morning and drink it throughout the day. Yes, the amount of vitamins goes down when the time goes by, however some of the nutrients will stay in the juice. So, if you like making a big batch, go ahead!

Good Vegetables and Fruits for Juicing

A piece of lemon will add a fresh pleasant taste. Some says that it is recommended to add lemon to the carrot juice to eliminate the activation of ascorbic acid in carrots.
But just do not be so serious about it and if you do not have lemons or apples in the fridge, don’t just give up on juicing for the day. I wrote apples on my recipe, because I did not want you to make the juice so bitter. Adding apples of course gives a lot of good nutrition, but so does other sweet fruits. If you do not have apples, use some oranges, pineapples, or grapefruits to make the juice tasty. It will be another variation of a recipe that you may like.
The key is to enjoy juicing and create your own recipes!
Vegetables and Fruits that are not recommended
Just for your information, here are some vegetables and fruits that do not suit for juicing.
You can enjoy those vegetables and fruits in other ways, such as making smoothies, simply eat as it is, or cooking them.

- onion
- daikon radish (bitter...)
- banana (better to use blender)
- papaya (better to use blender)
- other melon type fruits where most of the product is not able to get through the juicer properly
